Eric Lupo, Owner, Tile Setters of Raleigh

Eric Lupo President

Eric Lupo is the Founder and President of TileSetters of Raleigh. With over 40 years of experience in both commercial and residential construction, he brings professional expertise to every TileSetters of Raleigh project, and he takes pride in a job well done. Eric founded TileSetters of Raleigh in 1995, and has built it into the successful company it is today by ensuring his contracts are fulfilled in a timely and precise manner. Eric works hard to maintain TileSetters’ reputation as among the best in the Research Triangle Park area and beyond. He remains involved in day-to-day business operations such as project estimation and management, and sustains positive working relationships with the general contractors, architects and vendors with whom he does business.

Steven Fisher Estimator / Project Manager

Steven Fisher joined TileSetters’s Estimating Department in 2013 after working at a custom stone shop, where he was a Project Manager and Draftsman. Steven brings his skills as a draftsman to his work, preparing accurate contract estimates according to architect specifications. He plans, organizes, and directs all aspects of contract estimation, and plays a role in managing TileSetters projects so they are completed efficiently and within budget.

Julie Hawley Project Coordinator

Julie started at TileSetters in 2015 as an Accounting Clerk and quickly transitioned to the Project Management Department, where she works closely with all the project managers and also assists Eric as needed. With the growth of the business came increased billing and the need to have an additional notary; subsequently she became a North Carolina Notary Public. Prior to TileSetters, she worked in the Accounting Department at Beardsley Associates for over 10 years.

Julie enjoys the challenges of leading and adapting workflow processes. The electronic file sharing structure she developed has improved the system of contract flow and management. She has also created a Submittal Material Request Form to streamline the way Project Managers review projects and request samples.

Julie has lived in Knightdale with her husband, Jeff, since 2014. They originally hail from Upstate New York and have comfortably settled into the North Carolina way of life.

Joshua Jackson Project Manager

Josh joined the TileSetters team as an Estimator in 2017 and has since taken a position as a Project Manager. Josh knows the value of a hard day’s work, having worked for his stepfather’s residential building company from age 9 through his teens. Prior to coming to TileSetters he also spent 4 years working as an electrician. Josh brings a fresh point of view to the projects he oversees; he is passionate about building positive and lasting professional relationships to maintain TileSetters’ reputation as a premier subcontractor.

When he’s not in the office, Josh enjoys competitive running, home renovation, and keeping busy with his wife, two stepsons, and Boston Terrier named Taz.

John Baker Assistant Project Manager

John joined TileSetters in 2020 after retiring from a 22-year career at J.D. Beam, Inc., a Raleigh-area general contractor. John provides support to the TileSetters project coordinator and managers in a number of key areas, such as maintaining project status logs, reviewing plans for takeoff calculations, determining appropriate construction methods and scope-of-work changes, and coordinating with General Contractors. John is a 1975 graduate of Campbell University.

Ross Grutman Estimator

Ross joined TileSetters of Raleigh in September 2020. Ross has spent his career doing stone, tile, terrazzo, vinyl, carpet, and wood takeoffs in New York City. He has a wide array of projects under his belt, including Shop Headquarters for brands in Times Square, the Met-Life Building, and the Nassau Coliseum. He defines his role as evaluating blueprints and learning to bring the newest technologies to get the most accurate takeoffs possible. Since moving to North Carolina, he is developing his estimates to adapt to the nature of the local projects.

Rhonda Harden Office Manager / Controller

Rhonda Harden joined the TileSetters team in October 2018, bringing over 15 years of financial accounting, auditing, financial management, and cost accounting experience, with significant experience in the private sector.  Rhonda works closely with the president of the company on financial and HR operations.  Outside of the office, Rhonda enjoys spending time with her family exploring North Carolina and surrounding areas, as well as traveling to college football games.

Diane DeLorenzo Accounting and Administrative Assistant

Diane started working at TileSetters in March 2019. Her responsibilities include monthly project billing, reconciling accounts, handling bid prequalifications, and supporting project managers.  Diane has worked in accounting for more than 25 years, including 15 years with a global logistics company before relocating to North Carolina from New Jersey.  A North Carolina Notary Public, she approaches her work with energy and an eagerness to learn new things.
